The Antelope Valley Children's Choir, located in the High Desert of Southern California, is a non-profit organization with the mission of providing quality music instruction and attaining the highest level of artistic excellence in choral performance. Founded in 1995, the award-winning AVCC has two choir levels, comprised of children from ages 8-17. Director Kara Slocum and the choir perform a wide variety of musical styles ranging from classical to popular, as well as, songs in foreign languages.

Performances for the Spring 2010 season included Jethawk Stadium on April 16, the Relay for Life event on April 17, the Music in the Parks Festival and competition at Disneyland April 23-24, the Lancaster Performing Arts Center with the AV College Master Chorale on May 8 and the annual Spring Concert in Lancaster on May 22. The AVCC performed on March 5th, 2006 at the famed Carnegie Hall in New York City! To see pictures from the trip, visit the New York Photo Album.
The AVCC also performed at St. Paul's Trinity Church. St. Paul's is the oldest, continuously-used building in Manhattan and is located right next to Ground Zero.
