                        PHIL SLOCUM

Phil Slocum has been enjoying the creation of transforming musical experiences as a church music director since 1987.  He is currently the Worship Director at Central Christian Church in Lancaster.  As the accompanist for the Antelope Valley Children's Choir, he gets to work alongside his wife, Kara, Music Director for the Choir.  Musical inspiration came from his mom, along with the piano playing of Bruce Hornsby and Russ Ferrante of the Yellow Jackets.  He was taken by their ability to be imaginable and passional about their music.  One of Mr. Slocum's greatest joys is to see all three of his children loving music.
